Irish Celebration

Held the Third Saturday in March Each Year

The annual Irish festival in Erin, TN, known as the Irish Day Celebration, typically takes place in March, culminating in the Grand Parade on the third Saturday of the month. The week-long event features a grand parade, a carnival with rides and games, over 150 vendors selling crafts and food, live entertainment, and a beer garden. The celebration honors the town's rich Irish heritage, which dates back to when Irish railroad workers settled there in the late 1800s.

The celebration acknowledges the Irish immigrants who helped build the railroad and found the valleys reminiscent of their homeland.
